FAQ
You have questions, we have answers.
What is the elevation of Bozeman?
The elevation of Bozeman is roughly 4,800′. If your adventures take you to Big Sky, the elevation starts at around 7,218′ and climbs from there. If you do experience signs of altitude sickness (headache and nausea are most common), drink plenty of water, take an anti-inflammatory, and get plenty of rest. Symptoms usually subside within a day. There are some great clinics that offer IV’s and Oxygen —our favorite is IV 4 Wellness, and of course, if you are experiencing anything more than slight headache or nausea, seek medical attention.
What is the weather like in July/August?
The weather in the west can be hard to predict! We experience highs in the 70’s-80’s and lows in the 50’s-60’s during late July. We encourage you to look at the extended forecast before traveling to Montana to help you pack accordingly. BOZEMAN WEATHER
